A beautiful art journal project by the architect/artist/fashion designer Yukinori Maeda and his shape-shifting “brand”, Cosmic Wonder. These are the two first issues published with swiss publisher Nieves. Four journals were published in total.
Cosmic Wonder Free Press n°1 presents B/w, gold and silver printed drawings and photographies by Yukinori Maeda.
Cosmic Wonder Free Press 2 is comprised of letters from friends, visual collaborations with Elein Fleiss (editor-in-chief of The Purple Journal), Mike Mills (graphic designer/artist/film director) and Yoshimio (OOIOO/Boredoms). The audio CDs attached to the issue feature improvised tracks of the live performance held at Center for Cosmic Wonder in Tokyo by Yoshimio with Gamelan and Light Lodge by Yukinori Maeda.
